We can provide insurance cover to make your trip safer when you rent a car. We offer a wide range of insurances to reduce your liability expenses and give you extra protection in the event of an accident.

Collision damage insurance (CDI)

A rental car has car insurance in the same way as a private car.  The difference is that the excess on a hire car is considerably higher. In some cases, up to the value of the car.  With Collision damage insurance (CDI), the excess in the event of a collision, theft/vandalism and liability is reduced to NOK 14.000 - 23.000*

Damage to glass and rescue is covered, but with the deductible listed above. General car hire terms and conditions apply.

Medium insurance package (CDIM + PAI + WWII)

The medium insurance package is an optional insurance that includes CDI with a further reduced deductible to NOK 7.000 - 11.000* in the event ofa collision, theft/vandalism and liability.

In addition to this the medium package also includes the products Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) and Roadside assistance, glass coverage, and tire insurance (WWII)

Premium insurance package (CDIP + PAI + WWII)

The premium insurance package is an optional insurance that includes CDI with no deductible in the event of a collision, theft/vandalism and liability

In addition to this the premium package also includes the products Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) and eliminates the deductible for Roadside assistance, glass coverage, and tire insurance (WWII)

Safety for yourself and your passengers (PAI)

Personal Accident Insurance covers the driver and passengers.  The insurance covers traffic accidents and provides compensation for disability and medical expenses or death.   Compensation for medical disability is maximum NOK 200.000 per person.  Compensation in the event of death is NOK 100.000 per person.

Roadside assistance, glass coverage, and tire insurance (WWII)

This insurance covers the cost of assistance in the event of tyre change, wrong fuel type, , keys locked inside the vehicle, off-road incidents, flat tire, empty tank/battery and damages to the cars windshields.

This insurance also covers the cost of damage to the cars windshield and new tier(s) in the event on puncture.

Note: Expenses for repairing the damage are not covered.

Third Party Liability Insurance (TPL)

Third Party Liability insurance is mandatory by law and included with all rental rates.

The limit of the amount of Liability insurance coverage per accident for personal injury or death is unlimited. For property damage up to NOK 100,000,000. The liability insurance covers injury to the driver, passengers and third parties.

The insurance does not cover the renter’s property or cover damages to vehicles connected to rental vehicle, such as a caravan or trailer.'
